Insurance Claims Made Easy
Roof replacement can carry a hefty price tag that most homeowners are not prepared to pay. That’s why it is important to schedule an inspection so one of our project managers can assess your property for damages that your roof has sustained over the years from mother nature.
The Insurance Process
When it comes to storm damage this can be a very stressful time for a homeowner. At Miami Valley Roofing & Restoration we strive to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible. One of our project managers will be on-site during all stages of this process through the initial inspection, adjustment, and repairs and we will process all the final paperwork for you.
Step One: Inspection
After you have scheduled an appointment with one of our project managers, they will come out and assess your property from your roof to siding, gutters, interior damages, and any other personal property that may have been damaged. After the inspection, we will put a report together and inform you of your options.
Step Two: Insurance
After the inspection report is prepared, we will inform your insurance company of the damages that were found.
Step Three: Adjustment
We will be onsite when the insurance adjuster comes out to inspect your property. We will assist them by setting up ladders and help them identify all the damage that your property has sustained.
Step Four: Scope of Repairs
Before the project is started, Our insurance specialist will review the scope of repairs and negotiate with the insurance company and come to an agreeable price for repairs on your property.
Step Five: Materials
For most homeowners, this step is the most difficult. The homeowner will get to decide on the type of material and colors to be installed on the property.
Step Six: Build
Once a color is chosen, we will immediately get your materials ordered, have them delivered and get you on the schedule to have your repairs completed. Most roofs can be completed in as little as one day. Your project manager will be onsite during the build to ensure everything is done to your satisfaction.
Step Seven: Certification of Work Completed
Once all repairs are completed to your satisfaction, Miami Valley Roofing & Restoration will provide your insurance company with a certification of work completed and photos showing all the repairs have been performed. The depreciation check from the insurance company will then be released to the homeowner. Once the homeowner received the final payment your Project Manager will collect the payment and provide the homeowner with all the warranties.
